Success Story PT Sienco Aktuarindo Utama, Actuaries and Consultants, was established in 1997 by Mr. Indra Catarya Situmeang, M.Sc., FSAI, a senior Actuary in Indonefile:///J:/Sienco/Sienco%20web/www/en/legitimasi.htmlsia and one of the leading figures who birthed Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia (The Society of Actuaries of Indonesia) and Asosiasi Konsultan Aktuaria Indonesia (Association of Indonesian Actuarial Consultants). Despite the unfavorable economic conditions of Indonesia due to the monetary crisis at that time, there continued to be a demand for actuarial services in various kinds of companies. In addition, there were only a few qualified and accredited experts in this field. As a result Sienco was able to survive and grow until the present. In its early stages, Sienco was only limited to serve Life Insurance Companies and Pension Funds. But today we are able to serve all kinds of companies with our expanded service scope. We always sought to maintain and improve our service quality to exceed a satisfactory level. Until now we have been serving and handling more than 400 companies from various kinds of industries. The success we attained can be attributed to the hard work and our faithfulness to the company philosophy and values as well as the trust from our Business Partners. Always coupled with responsibility and high dedication to the community, we are committed to continue ahead and to achieve our best. In 2008 we conducted some internal and external reform. We introduced a new logo to facilitate improved communication of our company with the public. The regeneration in our management has also given a fresh air in our vision and mission which are more relevant to the current challenges. In addition to that, internally we started to apply Good Corporate Governance in each of our business processes, including the implementation of Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) in every activity we conduct to provide actuarial services. Since May 2008, we have moved into our new office building in Royal Palace Block A1, Jl. Prof. Dr. Soepomo, SH. Number 178A, in Tebet area of South Jakarta.
